Every Monday at 7:00 pm

Freedom Session leads people on a healing-discipleship journey that is much deeper than traditional and even Christian, 12-Step Programs. At the same time, we see the value in a sequential, step-by-step process. The 12 Steps of Freedom Session are significantly different and more specific than others, reflecting our belief that healing, not recovery is the intended goal.

It encompasses:

FOUNDATIONS I & II

A 21-session intensive journey that uncovers and offers healing for the deeper heart issues that often fuel our unhealthy attitudes, harmful behaviors, and destructive choices.   Each week or “session” consists of a 45-minute large group teaching, gender-specific small group discussion, and a 1-2 hour reflective homework assignment. (September 2025 – April 2026)

  1. Joint and Self-Guided Activities: Each meeting will feature a mix of collaborative projects and personal endeavors. Attendees can choose to work independently or join others in creative pursuits.
  2. Show and Tell: Start off each session by sharing your latest masterpiece with the group. It’s a chance to receive feedback, inspiration, and encouragement from fellow artists.
  3. Free Art Period: Following the Show and Tell segment, immerse yourself in a world of creativity during our free art period. Explore various activities, including:

    • Art Prompt Jar: Draw inspiration from random prompts to ignite your imagination.
    • Video Tutorials: Learn new techniques and skills from expert artists.
    • Art Book Reference Library: Explore a collection of art books for inspiration and guidance.
    • Still Life Drawing: Challenge yourself with observational drawing exercises.
    • Drawing from a Shared Reference: Collaborate with others on a shared theme or image.
    • Advanced Coloring Pages: Relax and unwind with intricate coloring designs.
    • Speed Paint Videos: Watch and learn as artists demonstrate their creative process.
    • Digital Art Station: Experiment with digital art using our display tablet.
  4. Casual Atmosphere: Enjoy the evening in a laid-back setting with instrumental music, camaraderie, and plenty of artistic inspiration.
Bring Your Own Supplies: Attendees are encouraged to bring their own art supplies, but drawing, coloring, and watercolor materials will be provided.
