KINGSVIEW DISCIPLESHIP PROCESS
The Kingsview Discipleship Process is for everyone: newcomer to long-time member. Just as Christ asks us to make disciples we are also life-long disciples ourselves. We encourage everyone to step into the mission and vision of Kingsview by reviewing the Kingsview Discipleship Process and start at the beginning or find your missing link.
KINGSVIEW 101 – CONNECTIONS CLASS
Our connections class is an entry point for newcomers to hear the story of Kingsview, share their story and build relationships with people who call Kingsview home. It is a 4-week class.
Week 1: Connect through Stories
Week 2: Connect through Community
Week 3: Connect through Serving
Week 4: Connect through Fellowship
2018 Fall Dates: October 14, 21, 28 & November 4; 2019 Winter Dates: January 13, 20, 27 & February 3; 2019 Spring Dates: April 28, May 5, 12 & 19 (Classes will be held Sundays at 11:15am in the Kinder/Sapling room. Email to sign-up)
KINGSVIEW 102 – SMALL GROUPS
Our small groups are core to implementing the mission of raising and making disciples at Kingsview. This is where you will walk through life with people, be a family together, be discipled and learn to apply your faith outwardly. We discuss how the sermon from Sunday or how your own bible studies touch your Head (what did you think?), Heart (how did it impact you?) and your Hands (how do we apply it in our lives?). Small groups are fed through our 101: Connections Class so be sure to sign-up for the next one!
KINGSVIEW 201 – BIBLICAL STEWARDSHIP
Find out what biblical stewardship is and why it is an integral and foundational part in the life of a disciple.
2018 Fall Dates: November 11; 2019 Winter Dates: February 10; 2019 Spring Dates: May 26. Classes will be held Sundays at 11:15am in the Kinder/Sapling room. Please email to sign-up.
KINGSVIEW 202 – OWNERSHIP COMMITMENT
Becoming a member of Kingsview is a deeper level of commitment to this church and its mission to the Heritage Green Community, City of Stoney Creek/Hamilton, Canada and the world through discipleship, missions trips and the support of our global workers. Being a member allows you to vote during our Annual Business Meeting and is necessary to allow your name to stand during Board Member elections.
KINGSVIEW 301 – DISCIPLING OTHERS
If you are disciple of Christ you are called to make disciples! It’s that easy. But why and how do you do that? This is a 3-week course to show you why disciples need to be disciple makers.
Week 1: What is a Disciple?
Week 2: The Command to Make Disciples
Week 3: The Heart of a Disciple Maker
2018 Fall Dates: November 18, 25 & December 2; 2019 Winter Dates: February 17, 24 & March 3; 2019 Spring Dates: June 2, 9 & 16. Classes will be held Sundays at 11:15am in the Kinder/Sapling room. Please email to sign-up.
KINGSVIEW 302 – LEADING OTHERS
We are grateful for all of the many people who have made Kingsview their home and show their commitment by giving of their time, gifts and resources! Leadership is a unique combination of gifts, talents and anointing—while we are all called to serve not all are called to lead. If you have gone through Kingsview Discipleship Process 101, 102, 201, 202 and 301 and feel called to take on a leadership role at the church, talk to the pastor you are most connected with or the pastor in charge of the area of leadership you are interested in to start our leadership process.
