Love Your Neighbour Project
Mar/Apr

Easter is traditionally a time for Christians to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus, which paid the penalty for our sins and restored to us the hope of eternal life. We do that at Kingsview. But, we also do more than that. We want to follow in Jesus’ pattern of sacrifice by caring for others who are in need. This is what the KV Love Your Neighbour Project is all about. Each year we find out what are some of the felt needs in our community and bring our church together in teams to help meet those needs. Just as Jesus said that He did not come to be served, but to serve, we want to serve our community and love others as Christ loved us. That is the true message of Easter.

Canada Day
July 1

Who doesn’t like fireworks?

Each year Kingsview Community Church gives thanks for our great country with a Canada Day Celebration! We pack our property with bouncy castles, popcorn and cotton candy booths, face-painting, balloons, and an exciting fireworks show to cap off the evening. Each year we are thrilled to see hundreds of people join us with their blankets & camp chairs, smiling and munching on popcorn, or funnelling down a Freezie.

We look forward to celebrating God’s blessing of Canada with you.

Light the Night - KVCC

Light the Night
Oct. 31

At Kingsview, we want to light up the last night of October with the love of Christ. No other day of the year causes whole communities to go outside, walk around the block and make face-to-face connections with their neighbours.<br/><br/>

What better time is there to build relationship with our community and serve them in a practical way?<br/><br/>

So church members host Light Sites at their homes in the local community, fully stocked with candy, hot chocolate, games and prizes (and even the occasional pony and bunny!) Many volunteers have shared having great conversations with their neighbours, even being able to pray for people in need, all while filling the candy bags of happy, costumed kids!

Look for our Light the Night signs and check our Facebook Page for details close to the event!

Christmas
Dec. 1-15, 24

We support families & kids in our community through our annual toy drive.

From Dec. 1–15, we’ll provide gift tags to our church members and collect toys that go to Crossfire Assembly in Hamilton, who do amazing work ensuring kids will have a fun toy to look forward to on Christmas morning!

Church members can look for their toy tags in early December. And of course, we welcome all to join us for our special Christmas Eve service.
