One of the best things about being part of a church family like Kingsview is being surrounded by a village that loves to encourage and come alongside us, whatever stage we are in. At Kingsview we deeply love Elaine Wolin and her husband Al. They have been married for over 30 years and have raised three beautiful daughters.
Elaine has many gifts: she is a prayer warrior, helps facilitate our women’s Bible study nights, and she has a heart for young moms. She has a Facebook page called “From One Mom to Another” that gives moms some helpful tips that have been tried and tested by her own life. Elaine is a fount of wisdom and we are so blessed that she uses her gifts to glorify God and encourage the body of Christ.
Elaine is the first to admit that life has not always been easy. “Al and I got married in our early 20s. We were both young and had a lot to learn. In the first four years of marriage we had our three daughters, all while Al was finishing school. God has been faithful through it all. Many of the trails we went through and decisions we made were so hard at the time, but taught us important lessons that would serve us for years to come. We had to watch our money and lived a very bare bones lifestyle. We developed a motto: Don’t buy what you don’t need, and don’t buy what you can’t pay for. It was during this time that I learned the power of prayer and God’s faithfulness. The reason I started ‘From One Mom to Another’ is to share what I have learned and advice I received over the years while raising my own children.”
